Falck Cancer Center Dedicates Serenity Space

The "Serenity Space" outside of the Falck Cancer Center includes a water feature, bird feeders, and many new plants and trees that will enhance the wildlife in the space, and showcase the beauty of nature outside of the Center's window for patients receiving chemotherapy treatments to enjoy. But the focal point of the space, which was sponsored by the Chemung Sunrise Rotary Club, is the "Rising" Phoenix statue that was crafted by local artisan Barbie the Welder. The breathtaking statue reflects the sunlight and serves as powerful inspiration and hope for those going through a cancer journey.
